“Then ready yourself for conquest with Viking coffee!”
On May 6, 1988, the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe opened in Epcot’s World Showcase’s newest pavilion Norway. The café serves traditional Norwegian snacks, including a kjøttkake entrée (Norwegian meatballs), a sweet pretzel with chocolate, and a park favorite known as School Bread, which is a sweet cardamom bun filled with a vanilla custard and covered with toasted coconut. The café also serves coffee, Scandanavian beer, and wine.
