August 27, 2010 – Tokyo Disneyland Welcomes 500,000,000^th Guest

On August 27, 2010, Tokyo Disneyland welcomed its 500,000,000^th guest, Megumi Soma. The park opened on April 15, 1983, and hit its first guest milestone – the 250,000,000^th guest – on July 14^th, 2000. Soma was given a special plaque along with a photo opportunity with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
