January 20 2014 – The Restaurant Spice Road Table Opens in Epcot

On January 20, 2014, the Spice Road Table Restaurant officially opened in Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion in the World Showcase. The restaurant, located on the lagoon side, was inspired by authentic outdoor cafes, and provides guests a prime seat for the IllumiNations fireworks show. The Mediterranean fare includes tapas and specialties, including spicy garlic shrimp and chicken skewers. While not originally accepting the Disney Dining Plan, most plans are now accepted at the restaurant.
