On May 4, 1977, the Disneyland video arcade Starcade opened in Tomorrowland. Originally two floors, the arcade houses over 200 different kinds of arcade games, ranging from classic to more modern fare. The arcade has also been replicated in Tokyo Disneyland, which opened on April 15, 1983. The use of the arcade costs extra than the price of admission to the park.
