April 11, 2003 – The Attraction Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage Opens in Disney’s California Adventure
On April 11, 2003, the live stage show attraction Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage opened in Disney’s California Adventure Park. This was the second version of this attraction to open, with the first version opening in Walt Disney World on October 1, 2001. The show featured characters from popular Playhouse Disney channel shows, such as Rolie Polie Olie, Stanley, The Book of Pooh, and Bear in the Big Blue House. It was updated and renamed on March 4, 2011, to become Disney Junior – Live on Stage.
