On February 22, 2004, the 10th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, California, honoring achievements in film and television. Johnny Depp was awarded for his Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
